Fake Brett Favre Signs Autographs For Fans

A phony Brett Favre has shown up at Green Bay Packers practice sessions and signed autographs for fans over recent days.  The fake Favre is playing it to the hilt, even wearing a number 4 jersey.  The guy is apparently pretty bold, even posing for photographs with fans.

One bar owner in the area says the Favre look alike has been seen in his establishment and possibly some others in the Green Bay area.  He said the guy came in in a ball cap and signed autographs for about 15 minutes, but kept his head down so people couldn't get a really good look.

Favre's travel coordinator David Thomason made it clear that this individual is not the real deal, nor is he associated in any way, saying 'Brett has not been in Green Bay'.   Favre might just stay retired this time.  He's 41 years old and has played for 20 seasons in the NFL, 16 of those in Green Bay.  (via msn.foxsports.com)
