
Gabrielle Giffords Speaks Out for First Time Since Shooting [VIDEO]
Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona spoke out during her first extended interview since the horrific shooting in January which left her with significant brain damage.
Giffords, who formed words slowly and with some difficulty in an interview with Diane Sawyer, promised to return to Congress once she felt better. But despite her severe brain trauma and difficult recovery, Giffords appeared remarkably upbeat and positive.
