The 2012 Grammys had a lot of great performances.  Sometimes a few get overlooked in all the reports about the biggest stars.  But I was very moved by the tribute to Glen Campbell at this year's awards show.  The Band Perry and Blake Shelton did a  fantastic job leading up the Glen taking the stage for 'Rhinestone Cowboy'.

And in spite of his battle with Alzheimer's disease, Campbell turned in an excellent performance with the host of musicians on stage.  His voice still has all of that trademark range, and a vocal timber that while a bit more 'seasoned' with age, still evokes all of the emotion.  It was nice to see him get a standing ovation.  And check out the shots of Paul McCartney singing along in the audience.  This has to be one of the ultimate 'feel good' moments from the show.  Watch the video: (via thehollywoodgossip.com)
