Handcuffed Burglar Drives Off In Police Car
Here's more proof you always want to remove your keys from your car when you get out, even if your car is a cop car.
A 21-year old burglary suspect near Las Vegas, Nevada was handcuffed and placed in the back of a patrol car. He was slender enough to crawl through the small opening between the back and front seats, work his handcuffs around and drive away.
He was caught on foot a few minutes and miles later. Never underestimate the dexterity of youth. He will now face a few additional charges added on to the burglary charge.
The old adage 'lock your car, take your keys' might need to be altered for police officers. 'Cuff your suspect, lock your car , take your keys'. Works for me. See more on the story here via yahoo.com .
