Happy 76th Birthday To Sam Moore Of ‘Sam & Dave’! [VIDEO]

Happy birthday to the legendary Sam Moore of 'Sam & Dave'. He turns 76 today (October 12th). The duo are in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame and rightly so. Their live performances are some of the most electrifying of all time.

Sam Moore still performs regularly and the duo enjoyed a resurgence when John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd scored a big 1978 hit as 'The Blues Brothers' with 'Soul Man'.

Unfortunately Dave Prater died in a car accident in 1988. 'Sam & Dave' had reunited and were touring regularly again in 1981. Check out a couple of videos.  The first is a performance from 1967.  The second one features Sam with Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band in 2009!  As you can see, the man still has the voice.  Enjoy!:
