Things have been strangely, ominously, or blissfully quiet on the Charlie Sheen front depending on your point of view. The latest info on Charlie concerned donation of proceeds from his single 'Winning' to charity.

But now it looks like Charlie might be back on television, possibly on the hit HBO series 'Entourage'.

If you've followed the series over its last seven seasons, you know the show has featured numerous noteworthy cameo appearances. In fact the show tries to feature one notable guest slot in every episode. Past seasons have featured a diverse list including Christina Aguilera, Tom Brady, Dennis Hopper, Gary Busey, Eminem and many more.

The creator of 'Entourage' Doug Elin has reportedly contacted Charlie's management and received a favorable response. Elin assured all involved that he would come up with something really good for Sheen if he agrees to appear.

'Entourage' is about to begin its eighth and final season on HBO in July, and they're going to have to hurry if they hope to get Charlie in there. The show is supposed to finish up all filming for the upcoming season in mid-June. That leaves about one month to get it done.

I would bet they get him. After all, he definitely has plenty of time on his hands these days. And I would also count on that particular episode being especially entertaining to watch. I'll keep you posted. (via tv.msn.com)
