Texas’ Longest-Running Farm Show Is Back in Abilene This February
If you live, work, hunt, farm, ranch, or simply love the heartbeat of West Texas, there’s one event you’ll want on your calendar right now.
The 2026 Texas Farm, Ranch & Wildlife Expo returns to Abilene on February 19 and 20, and once again, it’s taking over the Taylor Telecom Arena at the Taylor County Expo Center. This isn’t just another trade show, it’s the longest-running farm show in Texas, and for the 26th year, it’s bringing together the people who keep the Big Country moving.

A Texas Tradition That Keeps Growing
Co-hosted by the Abilene Chamber of Commerce and the Taylor County AgriLife Extension Service, the Texas Farm, Ranch & Wildlife Expo has been a staple since 1999. What started as a regional ag show has grown into a one-of-a-kind agribusiness event, drawing vendors from across the country and thousands of attendees from all over West Texas.
And the best part?
It’s completely free and open to the public.
What You’ll See Inside the Arena
If you’ve never been, here’s what makes this expo such a big deal:
- More than 200 booths filled with the latest in ag equipment, services, and technology
- Over 3,000 attendees expected from across the Big Country
- Live demonstrations and expert panels
- Continuing education opportunities (CEUs) through Texas A&M AgriLife
- The Town & Country Women’s Fair
- The Rolling Plains Cotton Growers Association Annual Meeting
Whether you’re managing land, raising livestock, growing crops, or just curious about what’s new in Texas agriculture, this is one of those events where you can walk in with questions and walk out with answers.

Why This Expo Matters to West Texas
This isn’t just about equipment and booths, it’s about connection. The Texas Farm, Ranch & Wildlife Expo creates a rare space where producers, landowners, wildlife managers, and businesses all come together under one roof.
If you’re a vendor, it’s a chance to reach a captive audience.
If you’re an attendee, it’s a chance to learn, network, and discover resources you didn’t even know existed.
On A Personal Note
I’ve had the honor of broadcasting live from this expo and even doing my morning show live from the floor. There’s something special about this event, the energy, the people, and the pride that runs through the Texas Farm, Ranch and Wildlife Expo. You can feel it the minute you walk in.
If you’ve never been, 2026 is the year to change that.
