I love doing these updates for All Kind Animal Initiative, but I’ll be honest… they’re always a little emotional too. Because every time I check the urgent list, I see incredible dogs that deserve a couch, a backyard, and a family that will spoil them rotten.
Instead, they’re waiting.
The pets featured here are currently on All Kind’s urgent list, which means they need adoption, foster placement, or rescue help soon. The good news is that it only takes one person to change their story.
Sometimes that person is someone right here in Abilene.

A Fun Way to Help the Animals This Friday
There’s also a cool event happening this week that helps support these animals. All Kind is hosting a Roaring 20s Speakeasy-style gala this Friday, and it’s shaping up to be a really fun night while raising funds for pets in need.
