(KNUE-FM) There is not much better than opening your eyes to see the beauty of Texas, followed by a comfy morning with coffee and a good book. A majority of readers are reading headlines online, although some still enjoy opening a book or using their Kindle or e-reader.

But which authors are Texans loving the most right now? That’s a difficult question to answer.

I hate that it took me so long to realize how amazing reading can be. I didn’t enjoy anything I was told to do or read. But I am fortunate to have picked up reading as an adult, and it has truly made life better.
