You Can Take A Spooky Tour of a Lubbock Library’s Basement
I love a good ghost story. I also love a good book. This one is right up my alley...
Ever feel like something is watching you while you're standing alone in a mostly empty library? I gave myself the creeps once in college after spending way too many hours studying for a test at Mahon Library. I never really thought much about it until I noticed today that the library actually has a few ghost stories of its own.
Just in time for Halloween, brave souls are invited to venture into the creepy library basement after dark for a few thrills and chills.
What's Hiding Beneath Mahon Library?
From 7 to 8 pm on Thursday, October 29th and Friday, October 30th, Mahon Library invites guests to learn about local ghost stories and mysteries spanning the past 100 years before taking a trip downstairs to hear about the library's own ghost activity.
Admission is totally free, but reservations are required. The event is also intended for ages 18 and older, so sorry, kids. You're gonna have to sit this one out.
Reserve your spot today at 806-775-2835.
Are you brave enough to take the tour? I'm not, but feel free to tell me all about it! You can reach me at Chrissy.Covington@townsquaremedia.com.
