Building the Fleet: Boat Construction in Room 2
The Warford Activity Center is hosting a Mini Boat Regatta on April 11. If you have never heard of a regatta, it is basically a boat race. That is what the Amarillo Parks and Recreation is hosting coming up on April 11th.
Race Rules: Harnessing the Power of Wind and Waves
Set sail on the open waters of Warford Activity Center’s indoor pool!
Build a toy-sized boat in Multipurpose Room 2 with supplies provided, then race it across the pool using only the wind and the waves! (Participants must only propel the boat by blowing or splashing it across the water.)
