
Toys “R” Us Fans Rejoice: Geoffrey Is Back in Texas
Why is it that once my daughter moves back to Amarillo from Dallas, they start to get even cooler things? First, we got word that the Dallas area was getting a White Castle. I mean, that was my childhood growing up in Chicago, and it was finally coming to Texas.

But that is not all that they have. Do you remember being a Toys R Us kid? Do you remember singing along to the commercial? You sang along. We all did. We just didn't want to grow up.
When we did, they played the cruelest joke on us. They closed down all of the Toys R Us stores, including the one here in Amarillo. They closed down in 2018, and since then, there has been a hole in our hearts.
The Return of Toys “R” Us
No more spending time walking up and down every aisle looking for that great new toy. It really has been sad. The good news is there are a few that have opened back up. No, Amarillo has not been one of the lucky locations, but there are locations in Texas. We luckily got one not too far away, as one opened up in the Dallas area.
What to Expect at the New Grapevine Store
It's a drive, but you probably go to Dallas anyway, and here is another reason. According to the folks in Grapevine, TX, there is now a location open in Grapevine Mills Mall:
