(Tyler, Texas) While summer doesn't officially arrive until June 21, summer unofficially began last week thanks to the Memorial Day weekend. Warmer, well, hotter temperatures are definitely in our future because we live in Texas after all, and we will be looking for ways to cool off.

Fun Forest Pool Opens for Summer

The City of Tyler Parks and Recreation Department is giving residents a fun way to cool off with the opening of Fun Forest Pool. The pool's summer season will begin at noon on Saturday, June 6. Families now have a fun and affordable way to cool off this summer.

East Texans turn to the pool to cool off when the summer sun is beaming down. Kids will be splashing around the shallow end playing 'Marco Polo', 'Fish Out Of The Water', or other fun games, while the more experienced are diving and swimming in the deeper water.
