A historic Dallas estate is back on the market and the price tag has increased since the last time it was listed for sale.

The home known as the Crespi Estate was actually built almost 90 years ago for an Italian Count. The mansion sits on 15 acres of land with gardens and water falls throughout the property. One thing is for sure, you won't feel like you are living in Dallas if you call this estate home. The estate has hosted Presidents, dignitaries, and icons such as Coco Chanel and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.

The estate is located at 5619 Walnut Hill Lane. The asking price? $64 million with covers the land above and of course the beautiful home.

The French-style chateau is huge at 27,000 square feet. It includes 10 bedrooms, 12.5 baths, and Art Deco bar, not one but two wine cellars, a library that was imported from France, a media room, a ballroom, conservatory, and a 19-seat theater. If that wasn't enough, there is also a 3,300 square foot guest house.

The outdoor space is just as amazing with a swimming pool, spa, tennis and bocce ball courts, creek, and of course heliport.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the home backs up to the home of former President George W. Bush. Pogir and Diane DuVall of Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty are in charge of the listing. Pogir told the Dallas Morning News that the estate is "magical".

“It’s like you’re in another city. You’re not even in Dallas.” Pogir said. “You don’t even know. You can’t see any buildings. You can’t hear anything. It’s beautiful — magical."

In 2023, the home was listed for $60 million but a buyer wasn't found. It was then listen for $47 million but with 12 acres of land, not the full 15. According to the Dallas Morning News, the increase in price includes all the land and updates by the current owners on landscaping, statues, and sculptures.
