When the weather warms up this weekend, be sure to celebrate Spring at The Robinson Family Farm!

Central TX Spring Fest

Texas farmers are no strangers to the unpredictable whims of nature, and the team at The Robinson Family Farm knows this firsthand. Despite a challenging start to the year due to an extremely dry winter, the farm has officially kicked off its Central TX Spring Fest, with a bunch of new attractions to celebrate the arrival of Spring.

Adapting to a Limited Tulip Crop

In a post on their Facebook page, the Robinson family discussed the lack of rainfall over the past few months and the negative impact that had on their tulip crop. Now, while they do have “some” tulips this year, the supply is limited. Not to worry! The Robinson Family has rolled with the changes (to quote REO Speedwagon) and provided plenty of fun things to do on your visit.

The New"Build Your Own Bouquet Bar"

To supplement the limited tulip fields, the farm has introduced a creative new feature for the 2026 season: the Build Your Own Bouquet Bar. This station allows you to select from an array of locally-sourced flowers and greenery to create your own flower arrangement!

A Full Schedule of Family Fun

The Central TX Spring Fest runs through April 5, featuring a lineup of activities for all ages:

The Wine & Biergarten: Adults can take a break with a cold beer or chilled glass of wine (or both).

Food Truck Park: Local vendors are serving up everything from burgers to "crazy desserts."

Pet-Friendly Fun: The farm features a dog park and dog-friendly grounds for those who want to bring their four-legged family members.

Photo Ops: Take that Spring selfie in front of Netherlands-inspired windmills to giant clogs and vibrant murals.

Looking Ahead to Easter

The festivities will reach a peak during the Easter EGGstravaganza, running from March 28 through April 5. During these dates, the farm will host daily egg hunts (at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 PM) and offer photo opportunities with the Country Easter Bunny.

Get Planting: 10 Deer Resistant Flowers & Plants

We plant, and the deer eat. Not that we mind seeing the adorable four-legged friends making their way around our yards, but when they turn our hard work into their private banquet, that's a different thing. Planting these flowers & plants may keep Bambi and the gang away from your flower beds and gardens.
