A sizable group of personal items owned by Johnny Cash are set to be auctioned this Saturday (June 25th).  The auction happens at the Ventura County fairgrounds in California as part of the third annual 'Johnny Cash Music Festival'.

Among the items on the block are several of Johnny's trademark black suits, letters, glasses, and the frilly white shirts he wore under his suits in the 70s.  Proceeds from the event will go to Ventura County 'Food Share'  and 'The Coalition To End Family Violence'.

One of Johnny's daughters, Cindy, will be at the event to display and describe the auction items.  There are also musical performances scheduled, including a show by Kris Kristofferson.

One side note about the 'Man In Black':  Johnny Cash is the only American artist inducted into three halls of fame.  He's in for rock & roll, country, and rockabilly.   (via CourierPress.com)
