Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler and reality TV queen Kristin Cavallari may have called off their engagement back in July, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the romance is over.

Apparently, Cavallari is looking past her very public heartbreak, which left her “absolutely devastated,” and is trying to patch things up with her former fiance. They’re not officially back together, but they’re definitely talking and figuring things out,’ an insider told PEOPLE magazine.

‘Everything happened too fast when they first got together,’ the source continued. ‘So this time they’re taking things slow.

Cavallari is currently starring on this season’s ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ Cutler’s Bears are off to a 1-2 start.
