The internet has not been kind to the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot. This shouldn't be surprising to you, because a) you are on the internet, and b) you have seen the footage from the 'Ninja Turtles' reboot. (True story: during a recent 'Guardians of the Galaxy' screening in New York City, the crowd loudly booed the 'Ninja Turtles' trailer.) But, star Megan Fox has a word for all of those haters. Two words, actually.

"Fuck off."

Fox was speaking with reporters at a press conference in Los Angeles when she was asked about all the negative backlash the film has received online. She begins by defending Michael Bay, a man she once compared to Hitler:

Let me tell you something about [the haters]. How much money did Transformers 4 make? Exactly. Those people can complain – they all go to the theater. They’re gonna love it – and if they don’t love it, they can fuck off, and that’s the end of that.

Haters Gonna Hate

Say what you will about Megan Fox (and, believe me, the collective internet has said their fair share), but she's never been afraid to speak her mind. And, here's the thing: she's sorta right! For the most part, the people who complain are still going to wind up buying tickets. Now, will they still love it? That's up for debate. But, one thing is clear and important to remember: this 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' movie is a goofy kids movie, not some 'Batman Begins' reboot for adults. So, it certainly doesn't seem like Megan Fox cares what a bunch of online commenters think about her movie.

If you're one of the people who thinks 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' looks horrible, what you should do is the opposite of Megan Fox thinks you're going to do. Don't buy a ticket. You don't have to go see a live-action 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' movie just because someone made a 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' movie. There are plenty of great movies in theaters right now for all tastes - from 'Guardians of the Galaxy' to 'Boyhood'. Megan Fox is right: it's stupid to vocally hate on a movie and then go see it anyway. Save your money. And that's the end of that.
