Madonna’s halftime performance during Super Bowl 2012 definitely has people talking. Particularly over the shot of M.I.A. flipping off the camera.

Carried onto the field by an army of gladiators, Madonna offered a halftime performance that was part ’300,’ part ‘Blonde Ambition Tour’ circa 1988. Joined onstage by Nicki Minaj, LMFAO, Cee-Lo and rapper M.I.A., the onetime Queen of Pop ran through a litany of hits past (‘Like a Virgin’) and present (‘Give Me All Your Lovin‘).

But it was M.I.A. who drew the most controversy, discreetly giving the camera the middle finger after her solo rap. Of course, in the age of DVRs, nothing is discreet. Check out M.I.A.’s performance below. Did you catch “the bird”?
