My Friend Found Something Disturbing Inside A Texas Watermelon
Texas watermelons are delicious and amazing (and some are still even in season!). Watermelons, in addition to being a sweet treat, are relatively low in calories (47 calories per cup) and are packed with Vitamin C. Watermelons are wonderful and I am a big fan.
I have a friend who works in the produce department of a Texas grocery store, which I will not name either, just because what he found is so... unsettling. Perfect for October really. And while this bizarre occurrence could happen to any store, anywhere, I'd rather not put a potentially creepy cast on to that store.
Without further ado, here's some Watermelon lips. Prepare to shudder:
Wow, thanks, I hate it. I hate it so much I had to share it with you to lessen the burden of my hate. After my friend posted the picture, I of course asked for more details:
Like, I cut a quarter and *this* just fell out. It had the strangest texture.
Nope. No. Nuh-uh.
I have no idea what could have caused...watermelon lips. A witches curse? It rained on a Tuesday after midnight? The watermelon people soon shall rise? Likely, it's just some strange mutation but I just don't care for it. I've asked myself how much money would be the least amount I'd need to be willing to take a bite of the watermelon lips and I think the best I can do is $2k. That seems reasonable to me, although I know some of y'all would do it for free for the TikTok.
In case you're wondering, no this was not packaged or served to any customer.
