New Beach Boys ‘FAQ’ Book Released [VIDEO]

A brand new book on the Beach Boys has just been released. Written by noted rock journalist Jon Stebbins, the book is entitled 'The Beach Boys FAQ: All That's Left To Know About America's Band'. Stebbins explores the relationships between the Wilson brothers, and other members of the band, especially Mike Love.

He talks about Brian Wilson's inspiration being his brother Dennis, who was not only called 'the REAL beach boy', but lived up to the moniker. Many of the early songs written by Brian and Mike Love were based on Dennis Wilson's exploits in the ocean.

Along with the serious revelations, the book looks at the humorous side of the band, including stories surrounding the making of the legendary album Pet Sounds.

And there's in depth detail about Mike Love's essential role not only as a songwriter, but as a 'commercial' influence on the Beach Boys penning tunes that would sell millions.
