Lindsey Buckingham hinted in a recent Rolling Stone interview that Fleetwood Mac would release a new album, and possibly tour next year.  Buckingham said, 'We're doing something for sure. There's a lot of land mines out there politically, but I think it may be one of those years where everyone will want to do the same thing.'   He indicated that might be a tour, coupled with a new album.

Buckingham is currently wrapping up a new solo effort titled 'Seeds We Sow', which will be released on September 6th.  He is also embarking on a 50-date tour in support of the album.

Another project that might be revisited in the not too distant future is the original Buckingham-Nicks album.  It's been out of print for years, and might see a cd release.  The album was originally released in 1973, just before Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac.  I've got the vinyl, and it's an excellent album.  Lindsey even was receptive to the idea of a Buckingham-Nicks tour as a duo some time in the future.  Check out a video from the last Fleetwood Mac album 'Say You Will':   (via RollingStone.com)
