New Van Halen On The Way?

David Lee Roth posted a message on his website yesterday (July5th) that says simply 'Get Ready'.  We're guessing that means there will be a new Van Halen single out there very soon.

Rumors have been swirling for months now about new music from the band. They've reportedly been working on a new album for about a year. This would be the first new album featuring Diamond Dave since 1984 - the year and the album.

One guy who says he's heard some of the new music is 'Alter Bridge' lead singer Mark Tremonti. He is good friends with Eddie's son Wolfgang Van Halen, and says he was in their studio listening to a good portion of the instrumental work from the forthcoming release. He says it sounds a LOT like old school Van Halen. According to Tremonti, the band took some old ideas from the early days, possibly partially finished songs, and updated and completed them.
