Oklahoma Restaurant Owner Leaves Spectacular Note For Dumpster Diver [VIDEO]
P.B. Jams, an Oklahoma City sandwich and coffee shop, has only been open a few months, but they are making a national name for themselves recently.
The recognition isn't for their menu, though, it's for a note the owner recently posted on their door. Ashley Jiron, the restaurant owner, told KFOR News that she had recently noticed that someone had been going through her trash and taking some of the food she had thrown away. Knowing that someone was hungry enough to be going through her dumpster made her decide to do something to help. Jiron posted a sign (picture below) on the store window offering a free meal to the person.
This meal would be fresh though, not pulled out of a dirty dumpster. The note said:
To the person going through our trash for their next meal, you’re a human being and worth more than a meal from the dumpster. Please come in during business hours for a classic Pb&j, fresh veggies, and a cup of water at no charge. No questions asked. – your friend, the owner.
Warr Acres/Bethany friends: If you happen to see the person, please stop and tell them this for me. I will NOT take...

She says that so far, nobody has come in to claim the free meal, but she will leave the sign up until they do.
