On This Day in 1969 Herman’s Hermits’ monster album “There’s A Kind of Hush All Over the World”, with “Dandy”, “East West” and the hit title track, was certified Gold.

The title track was actually a HUGE hit from the ‘Summer of Love’ two years earlier.
