One Third Of Us Done With Christmas Shopping Already?

According to a Reuters survey, about one third of shoppers say they're done for the Christmas season.  Finished.  Already?   Who are these people and do you know any of them?

From the looks of the stores this past weekend, a lot of us are FAR from finished.  But in the survey conducted by 'America's Research Group', about 32 percent said they finished their shopping in November.  A lot of the respondents cited that they got it done during the weekend of Black Friday.  Another 6 percent said they finished up the first weekend in December.

It's a strong sign of an impressionable and still uncertain economy.  Shoppers showed up in droves to take advantage of steep discounts on Black Friday, planning to get as much....for as little as possible.   According to survey analysis, it's also a strong signal to retailers that they will need to offer some more big discounts to lure the remaining shoppers to spend in the almost three weeks remaining until Christmas.  (via huffingtonpost.com)
