Paul McCartney is reported to be honeymooning on the island of Mustique, in the Caribbean Villa of friend Mick Jagger. McCartney has visited the island numerous times, and stayed in Jagger's seaside retreat. Paul and third wife Nancy Shevell are expected to fly to New York later this week to spend time with Shevell's extended family and friends.

Paul took time out to thank fans for all the positive wishes and messages sent to the couple on their nuptials. McCartney posted a message stating, "Nancy and I want to thank everybody for the wonderful greetings and messages of goodwill that we received. We had a really great day with family and friends; it was relaxed, fun, emotional, heartfelt and a total pleasure for the two of us and everyone involved."

Don't be surprised if a few new songs don't appear out of this occasion. McCartney has often said he writes songs while on vacation or during times of relaxation. And of course, his wedding might generate a few ideas for new tunes.
