Paul McCartney Says New Album Might Be A ‘Garage’ Session
Paul McCartney says his forthcoming new album will be a little 'heavier rock' and might be a 'garage band' album. Macca admits he was inspired after talking to Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters about the recording of their new album in Dave's garage.
McCartney loves a fresh approach to each new album, and says he often gets a crazy idea and just goes with it.
It's shaping up to be a busy year for Paul McCartney. He just announced days ago that he's also working on a 'standards' album to be released some time next year. Then there's his upcoming wedding to Nancy Shevell in the summer. Oh yeah, and a little thing called a world tour which is currently underway in Brazil.
Paul has also recorded the Buddy Holly song 'It's So Easy' for a Holly tribute album dropping on June 28th. He is including the song in current shows. (info via ClashMusic.com)
