Pigeon Rides New York Ferry Instead Of Flying [VIDEO]

'Tony' the pigeon is either lazy or incredibly smart. Possibly both. This particular pigeon has been riding the New York Waterway Port Imperial Ferry for about three years according to employees and regular patrons.

It's no secret that in general, New Yorkers have little love for pigeons. They're considered almost a scourge or plague. But Tony is different. Ferry employees and customers love him. He's a familiar sight on the daily commute. And get this. Tony generally WALKS off the ferry with the rest of the passengers. He definitely knows how to conserve energy.
