What's not to like in the new Pink Floyd reissue campaign? Fans can choose their level of 'immersion', from single remastered cd's to deluxe box sets and limited editions. The band is still so much larger than life after all this time has passed. And the music stands immortal. I got a chance to listen to some of the remastered songs and it's obvious that the studio work was a labor of love. The songs were so well recorded in the first place, and with modern technology, you're as close to 'in the studio' as anyone outside the band could ever be. Grab yourself a favorite cd this week and carve out some time to truly escape and really listen to the music in full resolution. Trust me, mp3s won't get you there. Can't wait to see the rollout of the other deluxe versions, which include 'Wish You Were Here' and 'The Wall'. Go to WhyPinkFloyd.com for all the info. Check out a solo 'unplugged' version of 'Wish You Were Here' performed by David Gilmour:
