The new Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping trailer made me laugh out loud four times. If we assume the movie is 90 minutes long, and that runtime-to-laugh ratio holds, then this should be the funniest movie ever made.

Perhaps this is setting lofty expectations that the movie can’t hope to match, but regardless, this trailer is good, way better than the Mona Lisa which, as this video quite conclusively proves, is an overrated piece of s---. The first movie from the Lonely Island — Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone — is all about the perils and madness of pop superstardom, with Samberg as the hapless Conner4real, a dopey, lonely, and hugely successful pop star of limited talent and intelligence. (Aren’t they all?) This trailer promises some great jokes about 30 Seconds to Mars (a band, not an actual measure of distance) and Imogen Poots as Conner’s girlfriend, who gets a lavish proposal (complete with a live performance from Seal) that quickly gets out of hand when the wolves eat Seal. (#RIPSeal)

In addition to Samberg, (plus Schaffer and Taccone, who are also the film’s directors, in supporting roles) the cast also includes Sarah Silverman, Tim Meadows, Bill Hader, Joan Cusack, Will Arnett, Will Ferte, and a very expensive looking hologram of Adam Levine. If this thing is as good as the trailer makes it seem, the Lonely Island better never stop (never stopping) making more movies after this one.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping opens in theaters on June 3.
