Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo and her boyfriend were bound and beaten Saturday (May 13) by two home invaders who wielded baseball bats.

According to TMZ, Manzo and David Cantin returned to their Holmdel, New Jersey home to find the assailants already in the house. Dina was immediately punched in the face, neck and head while Cantin was assaulted with the baseball bat, which belonged to Cantin's son — TMZ says the robbers grabbed it upon breaking in.

The suspects then zip-tied Manzo and Cantin up and left them in the foyer while they stole cash and jewelry from the couple.

When the assailants left, the couple managed to wiggle their way to the kitchen, cut their ties loose with scissors and call police. They were both treated for bruises at the hospital but there were no broken bones or more severe injuries.

Some of Manzo's Housewives friends and fans of the show, alike, reached out via social media to extend their well wishes:

"Dear GOD, please no. I'm heartbroken over reading what happened to @dinamanzo," one wrote, while another noted "Sickened to hear this. Saying so many prayers for you!"
