This Sunday, October 9th, marks what would have been John Lennon's 71st birthday. Fans will gather at 'Strawberry Fields' in Central Park to remember John and celebrate his life and music.

 

'Strawberry Fields' is a commemorative patch of land dedicated to John by the city of New York. It is directly across the street from the Dakota apartment building, which was John's residence up until his untimely death in 1980.
