It was 43 years ago today (January 30th, 1969) that the Beatles played their final live show, performing on the rooftop of the Apple studios in London, and literally stopping traffic in the streets below.

That performance was filmed for inclusion in the 'Let It Be' movie as you may remember.  Although the sessions for the album were tense, the performances show the Beatles in a great mood.  And the live performances are spectacular.  Billy Preston can be seen in some of the footage providing his trademark piano sound.
