Ringo Starr Recovering From Bout Of Pneumonia [VIDEO]

Ringo Starr was scheduled to appear at the Grammys on Sunday night, and also at Paul McCartney's ceremony for a star on the Hollywood Wald Of Fame.  But the former Beatle was a no show.

McCartney mentioned at his star unveiling that Ringo would have been there but was 'under the weather'.  It turns out he had pneumonia.  A spokesperson for Starr said, "Please let people know he is doing steadily better and appreciates their love and well wishes!"

Ringo's brand new album 'Ringo 2012' is available now, and he is touring with his 'All Starr Band' this summer.  We wish him the best!  (via Examiner.com)
