Sammy Hagar and Dave Mustaine have been added to the first-ever Loudwire Music Awards. The event will take place on Oct. 24 at the Novo in Los Angeles.

Hagar will be presented with the inaugural Humanitarian Award, while Mustaine is on the schedule as a live performer. They'll join previously announced performers Anthrax, Nothing More, Body Count, Halestorm, Starset, Power Trip and Rob Halford, who will be there to accept the Lemmy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Hagar is being honored for his work with the Hagar Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization he co-created to send funds and food to various charities. "It's always exciting to receive an award," he said. "But this one is extra special. To be recognized for something you truly love doing and in front of an audience of your peers, doesn't get any better than that!"

In addition to Hagar's and Halford's awards, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi will be presented with the Courage Award. Zakk Wylde, Steve Vai and Vinnie Paul are among the list of presenters tapped for the show. Members of As Lions, August Burns Red, Avatar, Beartooth, Black Map, Bloodclot, Butcher Babies, Crown the Empire, Ded, Demon Hunter, Fozzy, Frank Carter, Hellyeah, Hollywood Undead, Ice Nine Kills, Huntress, LA Guns, New Years Day, Of Mice and Men, Pop Evil, PowerFlo, Quiet Riot, Red Fang, Royal Thunder, Steel Panther, Stitched Up Heart, Sum 41, Sylar and Wage War will also be there.

The concert and ceremony will be hosted by WWE star, podcast host and Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho. Fans can vote in 14 different categories through Oct. 2. You can get more information about the Loudwire Music Awards at its website. Tickets are available now.
