Styx Talks about the Upcoming Show in Abilene [AUDIO]

I am a huge fan of Styx and the legendary classic rock band will be making a stop at the Civic Center Sunday March 3. We talked with them about the upcoming show, and more.

The first time I saw Styx live was the "Paradise" tour, and have seen every tour since. A Styx show to me is less a "concert" and more of an "EXPERIENCE".

I believe it is safe to say that the band has reached legendary status when it is constantly being referred to in movies, and T.V. Shows, like "Family Guy", "The Office" or "South Park" when Cartman sings Come Sail Away.  I can even do "Renegade" on RockBand (Easy level). Who could ever forget the Adam Sandler movie "Big Daddy" when the kid says,

Sonny taught me that Styx was one of the gweatest amewican wock bands, and they only got a bad wap because the cwitics are cynical ***holes"

I loved that line!
