A Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus officer has been shot and killed. The University is warning students to stay indoors while authorities search the campus.

Boston's Tom Scholz is almost as well-known for his litigious ways as he is for his musical gifts, but it looks like his latest lawsuit will end in defeat.

Anthrax are set to release their EP of covers called 'Anthems' on March 19th. The CD will have some of the greatest songs ever recorded from bands like AC/DC, Rush, Thin Lizzy and more. One song that I'm really amped up for, is the song 'Smokin'' from the classic rock band Boston.

Long breaks probably prevented them from becoming even bigger, but Boston managed to crank out plenty of classics during their peak years.

Boston mastermind Tom Scholz has never been known for his quick turnaround on new albums. Though a new album is in the works from the band, recently appointed lead singer Tommy DeCarlo has wisely suggested fans may not want to hold their breath while waiting for it.

The band Boston has just announced a series of concert dates for a summer tour in 2012.  This is not the first tour since Brad Delp committed suicide. Indeed BOSTON played more than 50 concerts in the summer of 2008 with Tommy DeCarlo on Vocals and Michael Sweet on guitar and vocals.

According to band leader Tom Scholz, the brand new Boston album is 85% complete. The album should be out before the end of the year, and it will be the first new release from Boston since 'Corporate America' in 2002.
