A huge dust cloud descended on our neighbors in Lubbock, Texas yesterday as the cool front made it's way toward Abilene. The timing couldn't have been much worse as the cloud arrived in the city limits about the time of the afternoon commute. Visibilities along the highways were reduced to near zero as the dust storm pummeled the city with winds reported over 70 miles per hour.
