Terrence Howard Blames His Weird Oscars Behavior on Oprah

Terrence Howard acted weird at the Oscars. Tasked with announcing some of the Best Picture nominees, he flubbed almost every line, wacked his microphone, and then appeared to be overcome by emotion. This was all Oprah’s fault.

Howard hit The Tonight Show last night, and host Jimmy Fallon couldn’t resist asking the Empire actor about just what the heck happened when he was doing his presenting thing during the awards show. Obviously embarrassed, Howard attempted to hide in his clothes before finally explaining just how everything went topside. It was because of Oprah. Well, it was because he wanted to one up everyone who just read off their lines by actually memorizing his bit, and was then distracted by the presence of Oprah in the crowd.

This is understandable. Not necessarily relatable, but understandable.
