Score 1 for The Good Guys, 3 Texas Top 10 Most Wanted Taken Down

The streets are a little more safe tonight thanks to the efforts of those working day and night to keep us protected. Three of Texas' "10 Most Wanted" criminals are now behind bars where they belong.

In many ways, it's a thankless job. The men and women who serve our cities, counties and state who work tirelessly to keep our streets safe so we can raise our families in a community free of crime. It's not a perfect science, but those who serve do their best to keep the streets as safe as possible.

Crime happens, and in some cases it can get pretty extreme. Criminals know what lays ahead for them and some will decide to live a life on the run. Thankfully, there are those who will continue to hunt for these monsters and get them back behind bars.

Let's take a look at three example of folks who thought they could go underground and were instead exposed and brought back into the light (and into a cozy concrete cell).

Rodney Eugene Hunter

Robinson, Hannah/ Texas Department of Public Safety

50 year old Hunter is a high-risk sex offender who's been wanted by the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office since February 2022 for forgery. In July 2022 the Waco Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

Hunter was arrested on August 9, 2022, in Waco, Texas.

Thomas Correa Naranjo

Robinson, Hannah/ Texas Department of Public Safety

41 year old Naranjo, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive affiliated with the Texas Syndicate gang, was wanted for Parole Violation since May 2021. His original offenses was Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon, Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine and Assault of a Family/Household Member.

Naranjo was arrested on August 10, 2022, in Houston, Texas.

Bruce Orville Clifton

Unnasch, Adam/Texas Department of Public Safety

56 year old Clifton was wanted for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements, Parole Violation for his original offense, Sexual Assault of a Child.

Clifton was arrested at a storage facility in New Mexico thanks to a tip provided to Crime Stoppers and a reward will be paid following his capture.

New 10 Most Wanted

Now that these three have been captured, Texas will add three more names to their "Most Wanted" list. Texas Crime Stoppers will offer rewards for info leading to the capture of these criminals.

If you have information on a "Most Wanted" criminal, and want to qualify for a reward, you'll need to provide information in one of these three ways.

Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about then clicking on the link under their picture.
Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

Remember. these criminals are considered armed and dangerous and you should not attempt to apprehend on your own. Call the authorities.
