Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers Have Earned Their First Ever #1 Album

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers have earned their first ever #1 album on the Billboard 200 with "Hypnotic Eye" selling 131,000 copies.

The band first appeared on the chart back in September 1977 with their self-titled debut album...which means it took 37 YEARS for them to hit #1.
