Wii U Deluxe Dropping Nintendo Land, Adding Mario and Luigi

Starting on Nov. 1, Nintendo will have an all-new version of the Wii U Deluxe edition. Unfortunately, Nintendo Land will no longer be part of the deal.

In its place however, you'll find a copy of New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U on one disc. The bundle will still retail for $299.99, but if you want to grab Nintendo Land, you'll have to pony up an additional $29.99 for either a digital or retail copy.

“Mario and Luigi are two of the biggest heroes in video games,” said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “This new Wii U configuration gives people instant access to not one, but two of the most well-received Wii U games. It’s another example of the tremendous value and variety that Nintendo is offering consumers this holiday season.”

The Wii U Wind Waker bundle will also still be available for a limited time.
