Woman Sues Over Wrong Lottery Numbers
I don't think she will get any money from it, but I understand why she's upset. A New Jersey woman is suing New York ABC affiliate WABC for broadcasting the wrong lottery numbers.
The numbers they broadcast, if correct, would have meant $250,000 for Rakel Daniele. She says they also re-broadcasted the incorrect numbers the next day.
Her lawsuit names the tv station, the network itself, and the parent company Walt Disney...and seeks $75,000 in damages. She says she is 'severely damaged' by relying on the wrong numbers.
I'd be upset too, but wouldn't expect to win a lawsuit over it. See the entire story here at upi.com.
