Cory Monteith's death is beyond fresh in the minds of his 'Glee' castmates, who've been paying tribute to him in different ways. Darren Criss, who plays Blaine on the show, memorialized Monteith by wearing a black ribbon pinned to his gray suit at the premiere of his film 'Girl Most Likely' in NYC on July 15.

Us Weekly reports that an attendee said that Criss "looked rather sad and somber" at the event, and that he only mustered a smile when posing for photos. He was said to be itching to wrap the photos, with a source saying that he "obviously wanted to get off the carpet as soon as possible."

Indeed, it's hard to force a smile for photographers at a celeb event when mourning and grieving over the loss of a friend. We give Criss props for working his way through his professional commitment during a difficult time.

Criss and co-star Matthew Morrison, who plays Will Schuester, both canceled appearances on 'Live With Kelly & Michael' this week. Criss was scheduled for today (July 16) while Morrison was to perform on July 18.

Clearly, Monteith's death is weighing heavily on the hearts of his castmates and friends.
