A 2004 inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Jackson Browne is considered one of the best singer-songwriters of the 70's and early 80's. While Jackson wrote plenty of hits for other artists like the Eagles, Gregg Allman, Joan Baez, The Byrds and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (of which he was briefly a member), he also had some success recording his own.
