The most dangerous and most popular ride at the West Texas Fair and Rodeo only runs one day. While it's not for everyone it is still one of the most popular of the West Texas Fair and Rodeo. It's always been part of the main attraction at the Fair every year.

Those that can ride this dangerously popular ride are a part of a very elite group of people. However not just anyone can get on this ride and stay on it, for the full eight seconds for it to be called a 'successful' ride. It's the Bull Riding that I'm speaking of and the best part is, those who can ride, thrill those of us who cannot.

I have ridden a bull only three times in my life, and I'm very proud of the first two times. My first ride was when I was in FFA at North Layton Jr. High School, I was a freshman that year, my second was later in high school, as a sophomore on a dare.

However, the same can't be said about my third ride. I thought I was only doing it for my own personal entertainment only to discover that my wife, Donna was videoing the whole event, as you'll see in the video below.

This year's event is called "West Texas Bulls at Night" and will only be a one-day event. The bull riding is Sunday, September 12th, 2021, and will begin at 7:30 PM.

The "West Texas Bulls at Night" will take the standard rodeo ticket to get in. Tickets will range in price from $6 to $20 dollars depending on the age and location of where you'll be seated in the Taylor Telecom Arena.

Please keep in mind that, if you purchase a "FAIR" ticket it only allows you into the fairgrounds for the displays, food trucks, outdoor concert stage, carnival rides, and midway. The "RODEO" ticket will get you into the rodeo and everything else.
