Hell hath no fury like Anne Hathaway sporting the same gown as a costar.

Hathaway came under fashion fire at the 2013 Oscars, leaving many to wonder why she wasn't wearing one of her BFF designer Valentino's creations instead of the cheap looking, unfortunately darted Prada number.

As we previously reported, Hathaway opted for the Prada gown at the last minute when she realized her fellow 'Les Miserables' star Amanda Seyfried was wearing a similar custom-made gown by Alexander McQueen -- but now we're learning that she was very, very angry that she had to do it.

Us Weekly reports that Hathaway heard at the 2013 Oscars rehearsal on Sat., Feb. 22 that Seyfried's gown was similar to hers. Seyfried showed Hathaway an iPhone photo of her dress, and the Best Supporting Actress winner flipped out.

A source told Us, "Anne was like, 'WTF?!' She started throwing a fit!" Still, to Hathaway's credit, she never once told Seyfried to change her dress.

Seyfried didn't quite understand the drama and wound up leaving rehearsals early.

And Hathaway's antics didn't end there. "Anne made the fashion, make up, hair, and jewelry teams wait at her home for hours as she decided what to do about the dress debacle," another source dished.

Somewhat more understandably, Hathaway also "asked for silence so she could rehearse her singing for the 'Les Mis' tribute at the Oscars. It was a painfully long experience."

Can't hate on the girl for working hard, right? But being so type-A may make supporters understand why so many people are tired of her for trying hard. Despite whatever Lena Dunham thinks, it has nothing to do with the starlet's pearly whites. Just because someone is a joy onscreen doesn't mean they're always a joy to be around.
