With the recent events in the news media, where law enforcement officers are being attacked. Some Americans are throwing trash and water at our first responders as they try to serve and protect the public.

Worst yet, some communities are even attacking officers while they try to do their job. This may be a common sentiment in some cities however, we in Abilene and the Big Country are ever grateful for all law enforcement and the protection and services they provide to keep us safe.

Show your support at the 'Back the Badge' breakfast at TaMolly's Mexican Kitchen, October 26th from 8am - 10am. Come enjoy a free breakfast with the members of the Abilene Police Department, Taylor County Sheriff's Office and our Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Instead of paying for your breakfast, donations will be accepted and TaMolly's servers will donate all their tips as well. Plus, a limited edition "We Back The Badge" t-shirt will be sold at TaMolly's Mexican Kitchen 4400 Ridgemont Drive the morning of the breakfast.

Once again 100% of the money goes directly to our local Officer's Associations.
