We're still more than a year away from the 'Batman v. Superman' movie. But you can get an idea about how things might go down in a new fan-made short film constructed entirely out of Legos.

And stick around for the end (which shouldn't be too hard, since the movie clocks in at less than two minutes), when former Sex Pistols singer John Lydon shows up as the voice of Alfred, Batman's ... er, Bruce Wayne's longtime butler.

As ScreenCrush points out, the black-and-white short was made by BrickFlix, who take a gritty approach to the battle between the two superhero giants. There's some blood and also a little surprise at the end that pokes fun at the upcoming big-screen movie's casting. That's when Lydon appears.

You can watch the short film above. 'Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice' is scheduled to open in theaters on March 25, 2016.
